Ronald E. “Ron” Cole, 55, a longtime resident of Hanson died Friday, Dec. 30. He was the husband of 29 years to Patricia Joyce-Cole.
Born and raised in New Jersey he was the son of the late Harold and Patricia (Deery) Cole. From New Jersey, Ron had moved to Florida, where he lived for several years, and there he met his wife Patti, later returning to Hanson where they resided for the last 20 years. For more than 13 years he had worked as a warehouse manager for Ben & Jerry Ice Cream of Whitman. He was an avid fan of all sports and enjoyed many hours outdoors fishing, but his greatest pleasure came from the time spent with his children and following their many activities. In addition to his wife Patti he leaves his children Alex Cole of Boston, and Tricia Cole of Hanson, and his sister Barbara Cole of Florida. He was the brother of the late Russell Cole. Family and friends are invited to attend his visiting hours from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 4 in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel (Route 58 @ the rotary) Whitman. By request of the family, funeral services will be private. |
