Irene F. “Renee” (Landry) Rogers, 62, of Whitman, died on Friday, Aug. 5 in the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital, after a heart attack and a lengthy illness with vascular disease. She was the beloved wife of 28 years to Kevin Coleman.

Renee was born in Brockton and grew up in Whitman, daughter of the late Arthur W. Landry and H. Louise (Mitchell) (Landry) Taylor and the late George Taylor.

She was a graduate of Whitman – Hanson High School Class of 1968.Renee worked as a sales person for Carroll Cut Rate in Whitman for many years.

She loved the beach,shopping, angel figurines’ and her grandchildren were the highlight of her life, along with her dog Jake.

In addition to her husband Kevin, she leaves her children, Kevin G. Rogers and his wife Kerry of Plympton, Timothy J. Rogers and his wife Pam of Hanson, Kevin P. Coleman and his wife Traci of Whitman and Maureen King and her husband Lance of East Bridgewater, her brothers and sisters, George Taylor of Maine., Billy Landry, Jeffrey Taylor both of Halifax, Scott Taylor of Brockton, Marlene Baptista of CA., Lynn O’Brien, Carole Whitman , both of Bridgewater and Shirley Wilkinson of East Bridgewater; also her nine grandchildren, Samantha King, Matthew Rogers, Nichole Hartnett, Noah Rogers, Benjamin Rogers, Zackary Rogers, Blake Coleman, Colin Coleman and Coleman King, her former husband Kevin Rogers, Sr. She was also the sister of the late Judith M. Meade, James M. Landry and Mildred Landry.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation from 4-8 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 9. Her funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 10 in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel Plymouth Street (Rt. 58 at the rotary) Whitman. Burial will follow in the Colebrook Cemetery, Whitman.
